  1. I love this! Such a joy to read. I’m grateful to have been able to choose to stay at home with my son for eight years now. I regard that choice in itself as a privilege. After a difficult start to parenthood, in this period I have truly been repaid for the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and then some! Surely true gender equality means HAVING that choice, not what society may perceive the best outcome of that choice to be. Being human, I also have days when I’m grumpy and UNgrateful to be at home, too – so your reminder of the vital importance of my job is received like balm to the soul!
